5 Days Dolomiti Paganella: greetings from local institutions
Official presentation at the Palace of the Autonomous Province of Trento for 5 Days Dolomiti Paganella, organized by Park World Tour Italy under the aegis of the Italian Federation of Orienteering Sports, with the sponsorships of the municipalities of the Paganella Plateau, in collaboration with Trentino Marketing and APT Dolomiti Paganella. In today’s news the greetings from the institutions to the 1,500 orienteers with map and compass from 40 countries on 5 continents who will arrive in Trentino for the sixth edition of the event.

“Since 2018, PWT Italy has developed an event model to enhance those tourist areas not yet active in orienteering, such as Madonna di Campiglio, Fai della Paganella and Dolomiti Cadore, with the development of a mapping system and an international network of ambassadors. In 6 editions of this new 5 Days, we have moved 12 thousand athletes for an average stay of 7 days, amounting to 90 thousand direct tourist presences, with an economic impact on the territory of more than 1 million euros. We have made cartographic facilities worth 100 thousand euros and financed in race fees Federation and regional committees for 200 thousand euros. It would be functional to have a comparison table among operators to systematize the orienteering tourism offer at the international level”.

5 Days Dolomiti Paganella: il saluto delle istituzioni locali
Presentazione ufficiale al Palazzo della Provincia autonoma di Trento per 5 Days Dolomiti Paganella, organizzata dalla società Park World Tour Italia sotto l’egida della Federazione Italiana Sport Orientamento, con i patrocini dei Comuni dell’Altopiano della Paganella, in collaborazione con Trentino Marketing e APT Dolomiti Paganella.
Nella news di oggi il saluto delle istituzioni ai 1500 orientisti con mappa e bussola provenienti da 40 Paesi dei 5 continenti che arriveranno in Trentino per la sesta edizione della manifestazione.

“L’orienteering mi ha sempre affascinato moltissimo. Una disciplina che piace ai ragazzi, che viene proposta nelle scuole a partire dalla primaria, perché è sicuramente uno sport con una parte agonistica importante, ma che soprattutto spinge le giovani generazioni a sviluppare competenze trasversali fondamentali. Acquisire sin dalla tenera età la capacità di orientarsi, non solo a livello teorico ma vivendo lo spazio e imparando a conoscere il nostro territorio, è altamente formativo. “Dal 2018 il PWT Italia ha sviluppato un modello di evento per valorizzare quei comprensori turistici ancora non attivi nell’orienteering, come Madonna di Campiglio, Fai della Paganella e Dolomiti Cadore, con lo sviluppo di impiantistica cartografica e di una rete internazionale di ambassador. In 6 edizioni di questa nuova 5 Days abbiamo movimentato 12mila atleti per un soggiorno medio di 7 giorni, pari a 90mila presenze turistiche dirette, con una ricaduta sul territorio di oltre 1 milione di euro. Abbiamo realizzato impiantistica cartografica del valore di 100mila euro e finanziato in tasse gare Federazione e comitati regionali per 200mila euro. Sarebbe funzionale un tavolo di confronto tra gli operatori per mettere a sistema a livello internazionale l’offerta turistica orienteering”.
