CABLE CAR GROSTÈ-RIFUGIO BOCH

The cable car that connects Grostè with the Rifugio Boch has always been used for two stages of the 5 Days Madonna di Campiglio, the second and third.

5 Days President Mauro Gazzerro tells us an anecdote that reminds him of this cable car: “In the 2022 edition, a crazy storm forced us to suspend the race of stage 2, about 45 minutes after the first start and with 600 athletes already in the race, who were forced to hurry back to the finish line”. An experience that remains on the list of ‘misfortunes’ of the orienteers present, but which eventually ended well. On the last day, many athletes among those registered after the final race wanted to try and make up for the cancelled race, in order to enjoy, albeit out of the rankings, the excitement and views of the Brenta Dolomites from the splendid terrace of the Grostè plateau.

This modern gondola lift is a landmark for mountain lovers, offering convenient access to one of the most spectacular settings in the Brenta Dolomites. Taking the Grostè cable car at Fortini, athletes and spectators will be able to reach the Rifugio Boch, located at an altitude of 2,085 metres, in just a few minutes. From here there are incredible trails and areas perfect for orienteering challenges.

Mark this stage and get ready to experience the adventure of the 5 Days Madonna di Campiglio 2025 with maximum comfort and spectacularity!
